Design inspiration:
The Waikato river was once Hamilton's only transport and communication link with other towns in New Zealand. The Waikato river meanders through the region cutting its path through farmland and native bush. The green base represents the native bush and lush farmland evident in the area and the blue/grey swirl depicts the river weaving its way through the countryside
